Mission Statement:

To help junior high and high school golfers reach their potential in golf by providing customized expert instruction AND to help build character, commitment, self-confidence and other qualities that will carry over to all areas of their lives.

The Purtzer Golf Academy conducts weekly Junior and High School Golf Academy sessions hosted by Stonecreek Golf Club in the north Phoenix-Scottsdale area.

The program is perfect for those of high school age and is appropriate for all skill levels, whether your daughter or son is a beginner interested in starting to play or an accomplished player looking to compete in high school or college.

Former PGA Tour player Paul Purtzer and PGA Apprentice, Tom Shultz will personally lead the Academy, and will provide comprehensive training which will cover all aspects of the game.

Their students include 2005 Arizona State Amateur Champion (Jeff Berkshire), the 2003 NCAA Champion and 2002 and 2003 1st team All American (Mikaela Parmlid-U. Southern California), 2002 1st Team All American and winner of 8 straight NCAA tournaments-NCAA record (Lorena Ochoa), 1996 U.S. Open Champion (Steve Jones), and many other top collegiate, amateur, PGA Tour, Champions Tour, and LPGA players.

The Academy will include sessions on how to hit the ball farther and straighter, provide improved skills on getting the ball up and down, and ensure that proper fundamentals are understood and applied to each participants' swing.

Fees are $50 per session and each session will last 1.5 hours. A special price of $250 is available for those wishing to attend 6 sessions. Please contact us for days and times.
